Regent International College, the premier International School in Gampaha district celebrates its 10^th anniversary this month. Regent International College was born on 9^th September 2001 catering to the long felt need of high quality English medium education for those in and around Gampaha. 

The 10^th anniversary celebrations commenced with religious ceremonies; a Whole night Pirith Ceremony was conducted under the patronage of Ven. Wimalawansa Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Siriwardanaramaya – Yakkala followed by Alms Giving on 9^th and 10^th of September and a Holy Mass conducted by Rev. Father Noel Nonis, the Administrator of the Miriswatta St. Jude’s Church with the participation of the members of the Board of Directors, teachers, parents and students of the college.  

As a result of the commitment, dedication and hard work of the management and teachers during the ten year period, Regent, today, is a well equipped school with over 600 students, consisting of all modern facilities required for education in international standards, including well equipped laboratories, modern computer labs, library, swimming pool basketball court built to international standards and children’s play area. Classes from Nursery to London Edexcel O /L and A /L are conducted in a serene learning environment under the guidance of a well qualified staff. 

To coincide with the 10^th Year Celebrations, The Management of the college with the blessings of the parents, has embarked on a project to enhance the existing facilities with a thousand seat Auditorium which would facilitate in – door games such as Basketball, Badminton and Table Tennis while being the arena for all aesthetic activities of the college
